Yes, I am returned safely from the loving embrace of Sydney to the hot and sweaty gym sock that is currently Adelaide...
This is possibly the most unbirthdayly birthday I have EVER had in my entire life...
I mean waking up in Sydney on your birthday is a very pleasant way to start one's day... but it's been a really disjointed and very uncelebratory birthday what with all the travelling and waiting and airplanes and whatnot, even though I spent part of it in Sydney.
It's weird, and I'm not sure I can explain it, if only because I'm overheated and tired and just generally exhausted... mostly happy, but knackered.
I'll try and get time to download the 657 photos I took (not counting the roll of 24 from my SRL) and do something about writing up some version of my notes from the four days, but that probably won't happen until about Sunday.
And thanks to Tom, Andrew and Monty for their hospitality while I was in Sydney (even if it was only for one evening... and no matter what they may have said about me *wink*)...

Happy Birthday Yani.
Hope the year ahead is all that you wish for.
Happy Birthday! Even as UNBirthday as it may have felt, hope it was a good one.
Thanks boys... it was certainly a different way of spending a birthday... but enjoyable all the same.
Your eye and ear haven't aged a day ;)
