Who knew that this week was America's Banned Books Week... well, I do now, thanks to Jevyeddy and his friend Sugarfoot.Like Jevyeddy, I'm a book freak (if you've noticed the "Currently Reading" section in the sidebar, you probably could have worked it out for yourself) and it turns out that I've actually read seventeen of The 100 Most Frequently Challenged Books of 1990–2000 (21 if you count the Harry Potter books as five instead of one book).

As a liberal librarian (is there any other kind, unfortunately yes, or we would not have banned books) I applaud you yaniboy, and thank you for keeping the love of reading alive in the age of technology.
