Who knew that this week was America's Banned Books Week... well, I do now, thanks to Jevyeddy and his friend Sugarfoot.
Like Jevyeddy, I'm a book freak (if you've noticed the "Currently Reading" section in the sidebar, you probably could have worked it out for yourself) and it turns out that I've actually read seventeen of The 100 Most Frequently Challenged Books of 1990–2000 (21 if you count the Harry Potter books as five instead of one book).
5. Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain
6. Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck
7. Harry Potter (Series) by J.K. Rowling
8. Forever by Judy Blume
18. The Color Purple by Alice Walker
22. A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle
25. In the Night Kitchen by Maurice Sendak
27. The Witches by Roald Dahl
28. The New Joy of Gay Sex by Charles Silverstein
32. Blubber by Judy Blume
33. Killing Mr. Griffin by Lois Duncan
60. American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis
62. Are You There, God? It’s Me, Margaret by Judy Blume
70. Lord of the Flies by William Golding
76. Where Did I Come From? by Peter Mayle
78. Tiger Eyes by Judy Blume
84. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain
There are also a couple of books on the list that sound familiar, and I may have read, but I'm not completely sure.

As a liberal librarian (is there any other kind, unfortunately yes, or we would not have banned books) I applaud you yaniboy, and thank you for keeping the love of reading alive in the age of technology.
