Did we see Sofles lovely purple and yellow art already? Yes. Is it lovely enough that we can revisit it for some close up detail shots? Also yes.

Anyway...

I got a little philosophical about soup in my Insta post for this week's take on Halfling Everything Soup...

  • Step 1. Make soup according to recipe
  • Step 2. Modify recipe slightly to fit your tastes
  • Step 3. Make soup based on your vague memory of the recipe

Which is more or less what I did this week. I bought the ingredients as specified, more or less, but then didn't look at the recipe once. Because, honestly, it's "Everything Soup", so I can put whatever I want in it... and the recipe was always slightly tedious.

And, I stand by that for soup in general.

Otherwise, not much of note this week...

I rage-quit the book I was reading, so had to go to the library on Thursday. I'm currently two books away from reading more books in a year than I've read since I started tracking them on Goodreads. And it's only April. Libraries, man, they're the best.

There was no Thursday Night DnD. And no Friday Night Not DnD. But we're doing Friday Night Not DnD tonight, because of... reasons. I think Mr and Mrs had a thing, I don't honestly remember. It did make the whole week slightly weird tho. No anything on Thursday or Friday. But Friday was also Chiro Day. And I didn't make bread on Thursday but on Friday night instead. And today is Saturday but also Friday Night Not DnD Day.

Yeah. It's all very weird.

Anyway.

Today wasn't much of anything... or at least, not yet anyway.

Basically, just the supermarket and then that's your lot... at least until I need to do things before going out later. So there's that.

Current mood:

photo saturday: brewery art

Some big old brewery vats as this week's photos with various artist's work.

Anyway...

It's been a while since I made pea and ham soup... but the one I made this week was really quite good. I don't know whether it was the mint I added or the ricotta I used in place of cream... or the fact that I bought new mushroom based stock. Yeah, it sounded weird to me too... but it definitely added to the flavour.

In other news, Ma is vastly improved over last week... or as vastly improved as you get while still using a walking stick... but honestly, she probably should have been using a stick for a while, so if there's any positive that came out of last week, it's that she went from "I don't like sticks" to "Gimme that blue stick" without much of a fuss.

So that's a plus.

In other pointless news...

Thursday night DnD was good... although, let me just say, DnD adventure writers, stop putting "chase/races" in your adventures, when you hamstring the classes that can move faster than everyone else. That is not a "chase/race"... and it's irritating. Or better yet, don't call it a "chase/race". Because it's not. And it works both ways, when you do let people go the speed they're supposed to, the "chase" finishes after about a round.

So, just stop doing it. It's dumb and it doesn't work within the rules.

I did get a fancy magic thing though, so that's nice.

Friday night Not DnD was also good... less challenging than the session a couple of weeks ago, but still enjoyable.

Anyway...

Today was basically the supermarket followed by a trip to Haighs for post-Easter broken egg... so nothing exciting, but I do now have Haighs in my fridge, so, yay.

This week was... many things.

Oh, also, rounded things in tones of blue and purple from the Wonderwalls photos for this week.

And Soup Season began this week... I made a decent chicken chow-DAH.

This week was my rental inspection. So I basically cleaned across three days. Not for the whole day, because that way lies insanity and also broken Yani. So, first there was The Tidying, where I put things away, got rid of the things that needed to be gotten rid of, etc. Then there was The Kitchening... which generally involves pulling all the stuff off the kitchen counters, putting it elsewhere, cleaning said counters, then cleaning the stove, forgetting to clean the filter for the rangehood (m'eh, it's not like the appear to check) and then on Wednesday that was The Wettening. Which is basically cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming and then mopping the floors.

Did I do more than was absolutely necessary? Probably. Is cleaning for an inspection my opportunity to do a big clean I wouldn't otherwise give a shit about doing? Yes.

Do I always like the way the house looks after I've done cleaning for an inspection? Also yes.

I kinda preferred every single other land agent who tend to do their inspections somewhere between 9am and 1pm, rather than this land agent who seems to prefer the 2-4pm time slot.

But Thursday rolled around and after installing Horizon Forbidden West on the PS4, I shuffled down the road to the bakery and then went to the library to pick up the giant stack of books that had just happened to all come in at the same time, and read the non-library book I was already reading. The last couple of times the agent did the inspection just after the 2pm start time, and I realised that I could have just come home early... so I kept checking my email for the inspection report email. And, you guessed it, it didn't show up until about 3:30. So much for that plan. But the tiny postage stamp library is nice enough to hang out in.

Thursday Night DnD was decent. And we finally made it to the start of the hardcover adventure. I will say that it did kind of feel a little bit like "enforced fun", just because there were a bunch of "busywork things" on offer for the group, given that we've arrived in time for a festival with associated games and contests and whatnot.

Friday I rewarded myself for all the cleaning by starting Horizon Forbidden West. It's good... I mean I only played until I got to the first place you could save the game after the title finally game up. So, like three hours. And I'm enjoying being back in the world, although all the models for the characters from the first game just seem a tiny bit off... I know they changed Aloy up a bit, but everybody just kinda looks like their own celebrity impersonator. It's not enough to throw me out of the game, more of just a "huh, okay then".

Friday Night Not DnD was also good. The interesting thing is how the Hero Quest can take the exact same board and make each level feel somehow unique. This particular level had us going through magic teleportation doors and bouncing all over the map. Which was fun, if sometimes occasionally frustrating, especially given that getting to certain points meant rolling specific numbers.

But my character also lucked into finding the MacGuffin for the whole adventure in the first room she went into, and also just happened to have the magical vial of Plot Development necessary to do things with it.

Today was... different. Mostly because Ma didn't come down to go shopping with me because of reasons, so I was on my own. Which I don't hate, because I can just put on my headphones, crank my jams (by which I mean the 99% Invisible podcast) and just potter around.

Which basically gives me the rest of the day to myself. So maybe I might need to go fight some robot critters...

We can't forget paste-ups and stickers in the grand pantheon of street art. So, some weird little green buddies for today.

Anyway...

A relatively short one for today.

No Thursday Night DnD.

Friday was Chiro Day... which also included my monthly Wandering Around Looking At Things. This time that mostly meant taking photos of things in bookstores that

Friday Night Not DnD was good... I do enjoy that in the absence of actual roleplay or whatnot, we've basically started using what little story there is and making up our own story. Or, you know, mostly just amusing ourselves.

Anyway...

I think we've finally hit that break point between "Argh Summer" and "Oooh Autumn", so I bought soup ingredients today.

Woo.

And that was it really.

Like I said, a short one.

Some more walls. Surprising nobody.

Interestingly, these were more or less the first (on the left) and last (on the right) shots I took last week.

Also, two examples of the importance of having lighting in the right place when it comes to street art photos. But also, not wanting to spend a whole day waiting for the light to move around.

Anyway...

This week was my birthday. Obviously. But we covered that already.

There wasn't any Thursday Night DnD this week... because people were sick and we're at a Very Important Point of getting to the beginning of the story... so... we skipped this week.

Friday Night Not DnD was good... once again, we have a system down, so we're not getting hammered as much as we were in the earlier levels. I assume the game will take it's revenge soon enough.

It was also my Friday Night Birthday... so presents were had and tiny cupcakes were eaten.

Anyway....

Today was a non-zero amount of the supermarket, looking at very old recipe books and then taking a trip to Spotlight for reasons. Not thrilling, but perfectly fine.

So, a short one this week. Which is also perfectly fine.

Hey, look. It's that thing where I go places and take photographs. Remember when that was a thing. Yeah. We're having a brief resurgence.

Because last week was the Wonderwalls Street Art event down at Port Adelaide, and the last one I went to was 2019.

This was also one of my favorite pieces by artists PichiAvo. Their whole vibe is taking classical sculpture images against colourful words. Would it have been better if I had lined the shots up so that the arm went across properly? Sure. Didn't happen though.

But more on Wonderwalls later.

Anyway...

Next up, some Sofles yellow and purple art.

All behold, It is My Birthday Week. Because that's three days before my birthday, then my birthday on Tuesday, then three days after my birthday. Which brings us to next Friday. Mark your calendars appropriately.

Of course, having said that, do I actually care one fuck about my birthday this year? No, no I do not. Will I care next year when it's a birthday ending in a zero? Who can say. We'll see when we get there.

I've now read more books than I read in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 or 2022. So there's that.

Otherwise Thursday Night DnD was good. We were down a player, and the whole session ended up being about finding that player before he got married to a banshee bride. And, you know, also drawing under an off-hand joke I made several sessions ago about started a rumour in the tavern that said player was getting married.

Maybe next week we can get to the start of the actual hardcover adventure we're intending to play.

Friday Night Not DnD was also good. We almost got the bad guy for this level, but he teleported away at the last second, which is annoying. And then afterwards, as generally happens when we're all a little overtired and overstimulated, we played what should have been some very chill Love Letter and lost our minds several times.

Also I won. Because that's important to note.

Anyway...

smugone hot boy with plums urban...

This is my second favourite. this absolutely amazing piece by Smug One featuring Hot Boy and Squeezed Plums. Yes. Please. Although the sun was completely in the wrong position to get decent shots, but that happens a lot of the time with the Wonderwalls stuff. Either you need a completely overcast day, when your sky is just blah, or you need to pick your times based on the direction of the wall.

I paired this with a nice case of Urban. Because why not.

Today was... well, you've basically seen a bunch of today.

We did the supermarket. I want it to be soup season already please, I'm bored with deciding what to make for dinner. Although this week I did make a mostly average tuna morney. Edible, but not exciting.

Then we bundled into the car and, detouring through town in a way we don't normally detour through town, we drove all the way down to Port Adelaide.

I'd done some internet sleuthing, so I knew both that there were only about eight new Wonderwalls pieces around, but also that there were pieces from all the years we missed (well, when they actually did it). Also, annoyingly, the map I was looking at online wasn't as good as the printed map we found... after we'd finished and were having lunch. [le sigh]

But we did a bunch of short car hops going from place to place, rather than traipsing from one end of the Port to the other. And found everything I wanted to find. Would it have been better if we'd remembered to bring hats. Probably. But we did okay.

And when we'd done the whole look, we went back to where we'd started to have lunch at a little place called Swedish Tarts Cafe. Where they have, no surprise, Swedish tarts. But we had a pleasant lunch, bought some tarts to take away and split when we got back to my place, and then bundled back into the car and drove all the way back here.

So, a different Saturday. And I'll have photos for at least two or three weeks.

This week was certainly drier than last week. Well, the weather outside was drier.

As for inside, I had an rental inspection on Thursday, so that included the usual "douse the bathroom and kitchen in a layer of water, then clean" along with "sweep, then vacuum then mop the floors". So I always end up a little wet around the gills by the end of it all.

Thankfully unlike before the last inspection, both sides of my face continued to be functional throughout the week.

But, rolling back for a second. Monday I did the tidying and organising I always tend to do during these things. I mean it's good that I have times when I can do that... the theme of this one seemed to mostly be "old DnD paperwork". And cleaning the kitchen for the first time (I kind of ended up doing it at least twice because I cleaned, used the stove, then had to clean again before giving up and only using the oven).

Then Tuesday was the long slow version of taking everything possibly up off the floor, putting it on my bed and then cleaning the bathroom and sweeping, vacuuming and mopping the floor. Which always sounds like it shouldn't take that long, and always takes waaaaaaaay longer than that.

Urgh.

As always, while I hate going through the process of moving all the furniture, mopping the floor and whatnot, the best feeling ever is when it's all done and everything looks clean and sparkling and lovely.

Actually, the best feeling is coming home AFTER the inspection to a clean house.

Anyway...

The inspection was Thursday... I finished cleaning on Tuesday. Wednesday was kind of a holding pattern day. I mean I went to DnD, so I was out of the house for most of the day, which was good.

I also had trouble sleeping Wednesday and Thursday nights... not sure why, maybe the weather?

Then I cleared out of the house on Thursday morning for a couple of hours... thank goodness for Burnside Library, podcasts and DnD module prep. That evening I made olive bread for Friday night.

Friday I finally got around to doing a ton of DnD paperwork, I finished up the olive bread and then Fluffy came down, we talked crap for a while as we often do and then headed out for board games instead of DnD because reasons. Still a good night, and I enjoy the boardgames... but DnD is generally just more fulfilling.

Today was rinse and repeat. We did the supermarket thing, came back here, and ended up doing a trip to Spotlight again... for no real reason honestly.

And that's it really.

I'm going to file this week under "rollercoaster"... but like not a big scary one... like a little one, for babies.

Sunday was... actually Sunday was probably equal parts shithouse and adequate really.

Sunday was the Christmas tree at Ma's place.

My "fuck Christmas in it's facehole" mood continued from last Saturday into Sunday, which clearly wasn't the best way to approach the day. But thankfully we have a system. I can do a system all day long. Even, or perhaps especially, when I otherwise don't give a flying fuck.

christmas tree 2019
So, we did the tree.

I did the lights twice because I fucked them the first time. And like I said, if I have a system, I'm gunna do a system.

Ma wanted rainbow, so we did rainbow. On the plus side of Ma's new place, it looks a lot nicer and brighter sitting against the window like that.

On the negative side, it's fucking impossible to photograph effectively.

And it was possibly fortunate that we didn't find any of the good, plain glass ornaments this year, because we totally would have forgotten that we wanted pink ones for the top of the tree to replace the silver ones.

While I did add "box sass" once again this year, I did not remember to take photos of it.

Never mind, it'll still be there next year.

That was really it for Sunday. Which was more than enough, because my body has been sore all week from all the squatting, bending and holding of lights.

I also put together Ma's calendar this week. It's one of those things that once I start it just gets done, but I have to start it. And given that we really only did one photographic excursion all year, it's the Wonderwalls photos from Port Adelaide (see also the photos in this post).

ma's calendar 2020
In the context of the whole calendar, I quite like the June choice (since I always feature June here, seeing as it's Ma's birth month and this is her calendar), but it's perhaps not the most striking individual photo.

And of course, because I only print one of these things a year, the printer usually fucks me over at the beginning... but after much prodding, poking, swearing and changing absolutely NONE of the settings, I reprinted the cover and it worked perfectly fine. No idea why the first attempt was all fucked up. Just glad it was only the test print.

Just the one DnD game this week... because we put our Friday game off until Sunday this week because the DM was going to be away. But it was a small group, a good DM and a decent enough adventure (although one of those ones that WANT you to go into all the rooms, poke all the weird things, and get your ass kicked... but you absolutely don't HAVE to do any of it... which is how we ended up playing it for the most part... because decent adventurers would start to realise when a haunted house or a dungeon or whatever is just making things too fucking obvious or hard or unnecessary, right?)

But I did go and see one of the Wednesday night players on Wednesday night... because he's the one who got married, and I made him and his wife (wow, that's a sentence I just said) a thing, and I didn't want it just sitting on my kitchen table until January. They seemed to like it, or at least they were polite about it. But it was nice to see them outside of an "on the way to/at DnD" context. Even if we did end up talking about DnD.

Also it turns out that our Wednesday night DM has disappeared up his own ass because he's moving house. And while, yes, I totally understand, and it's one of the most stressful times in a person's life, and if this includes finding a new place to live, sure... but otherwise, yeah, you've just disappeared up your own ass again, haven't you sweety.

Grrr.

Thursday was tabletop/board game fortnight, which fortunately wasn't the six person extravaganza of previous fortnights... there were only 3 of us and we played a very chill game, Villagers. Whether it was chill because there were only 3 of us, or whether it was because it's just a more relaxed game (I think it's a column A, column B situation, honestly), I really like it.

And I won the second game, which was nice. Especially as I came third in the first game.

Today wasn't bad. I mean it was occasionally a hot mess, but it was okay.

Shopping was a "four bag" occasion... which means we've bought too much stuff, although I will say that most of it was probably from the fruit and veg section, so not the worst result.

And then Ma wanted to pick up a few last presents. Urgh. So we went to Kmart, and she got everything but, I think, two things. Not the worst shopping trip, but I do hate doing any kind of shopping in December. Then we needed to stop at Typo, but by the time we got into the city finding a park was going to be painful. Thankfully I remembered that there is a Typo in Norwood, so we abandoned the city and went there instead.

That did mean we had lunch at the always slightly disappointing Nordburger. I mean technically it's all fine. But there was too much syrup in the milkshake (which was otherwise really good) and the burger was acceptable, if a little bit overly saucy, but not otherwise outstanding.

M'eh really.

And that, boys and girls, was all she wrote (as they say).

Bah humbug, maybe?

I dunno. I actually don't give a shit about any of the December rigmarole right now. Nothing seems worth bothering with honestly. Not like "life", just like all the festive bullshit. Tomorrow I have to up to Ma's place to put up the Christmas tree. And I couldn't be any less enthused than I currently am.

Like, the enthusiasm gauge is legitimately on 0%... in fact it might actually be dipping below zero at certain points.

Urgh.

Anyway.

Last Saturday, aka the birthday party, was better than anticipated. I mean I knew it wasn't going to be horrendous, but I haven't seen the majority of the former Nut House in... two and a half years. So, weirdness was built in. I did realise while I was on my way there that I'd essentially armoured myself in DnD character jewellery. And dark purple nail polish.

Because sometimes you just have to strap on your mental armour through physical items.

But there's a reason why I enjoyed spending time with those people. And why we got along. And also why, in the case of someone I'd never actually met before that night, we pretty much clicked into a similar mode to how I relate to the rest of them... because she'd been part of the team and was clearly One Of Us.

I told a number of DnD stories to people who were at least polite enough to be vaguely interested, and breadmaking and whatnot... Apologies to anyone I bored the pants off, but really, who cares.

I'd told myself I was only going to stay for a couple of hours and then disappear... that didn't happen, obviously, it was basically midnight by the time I left and I think I was the last of the "former workmates" to leave. It did mean I got to have a nice conversation with the birthday boy out on the porch though, so that was good.

But I had a good time.

Wednesday I went into town for DnD for the first time in three weeks (as in I wasn't in for two... does that make sense?), and it wasn't bad... the adventure was a bit m'eh honestly, but it was decent enough.

It also seems from what I've been told second hand that Wednesday nights won't be happening in December because our DM is often... oh, so many things to say here, none of them complimentary. I'm sure he has reasons... but given that he hasn't bothered to tell me what they are, I will choose to be slightly annoyed by his choices.

Things will be decidedly different when we start the new campaign I'm running. As in, it will actually run on a weekly basis unless I'm somehow incapacitated.

Grrr.

Thursday was Haircut Day. All the usual usualness. A little more "silvery purple" with my hair, but otherwise, nothing dramatic.

For Friday's DnD game I made cheese and chive bread, which was really good. I used more bread than the first time, and I added the chives... although I still need to try a version where I put the cheese in before it proves and see what happens then. Next week I might try a cranberry bread again.

We're also playing on Sunday next week, which isn't a bad option, but it won't be as late a night as we have been doing.

As far as the game is concerned, it was a very chill shopping/exploration/social session. Which I love, obviously. There were a few nice moments too. I mean it makes sense, but this is a very different vibe from other groups... it's quite chill, partly from the DM I think, but also these are mostly quite chill, if very weird, characters.

Speaking of chill... that's probably the way to describe today. I mean it isn't, because I'm not particularly feeling it, but it's as good as anything.

We didn't buy a hell of a lot at the supermarket, because now that we're not in soup weather again, I have no idea how the fuck to actually shop anymore. I either buy way too much stuff which potentially goes to waste like last week, or too little which then runs out, which I think is basically this week's direction.

Then we came back here, faffed around a bit, did a short trip down the road to Haighs so Ma could get something Christmas related for... somebody. Then came back here, watched some stuff on the YouTubes and called it a day.

So, yeah.

That's about it.

The phrase "from the sublime to the ridiculous" doesn't even come close to describing the weather this week... mostly because none of it was sublime and all of it was ridiculous.

It's only just November... why are we already having essentially Summer weather... pffft. Not a fan.

Anyway...

It was weird actually cooking meals on the day I intended to eat them. Not bad you understand, just weird.

DnD was back to normal this week... and by normal, I mean, whatever normal boils down to in this particular scenario. Or just two Wednesday games and a Friday game.

The Wednesday day game was... I wanted to say m'eh but that's not fair, it was interesting. Not the most interesting ever, but interesting enough I guess.

Wednesday night's game was... what's the name of that thing where everything is bad and a disaster and awful but you're still loving it? A clusterfuck? Yeah, possibly it was a clusterfuck in the best possible way. I died. Correction... my character died. For probably about 30 seconds in universe time (maybe 15 minutes real time), but still 100% totally, stone cold, nobody home dead.

I mean I knew I was fine... we had a cleric with us, so everything was going to be okay eventually, even if something weird had happened in the moment.

Also we had some in-party betrayal... and it wasn't me for a change. But we are totally going to dig into that next week (or, if the worst happens, at the beginning of December... I'll make all the notes I need to). I have thoughts and plans and ideas about the why and the how. I may be off base, but I think I know what is going on... or at least have a way to fix it. But we are getting IN TO IT! Even if I have to nail all the other players to their chairs in order to do so.

Extreme? Certainly. Necessary? Possibly.

Friday's game was what Wednesday's day game tried to be and failed at. An interesting dungeon crawl with opportunity for great character moments, without feeling like we were all going to die horribly at every turn or new door.

Plus, bathhouse trip (and only our second episode), so, you know, fun.

I also made bread with dried apple in it... which was a big hit, although honestly, it wasn't my best work and I put either way too much apple, not enough water or both in it. But people liked it, so I'm not gunna complain.

We did run until about midnight (yay for Friday night games where people don't flake out), and given that the weather had radically changed from warm and humid to cool and rainy, when Badger and I left there was some mist on the roads. And for the day after Halloween and it being midnight was definitely a creepy moment. Fun creepy, but still creepy.

It also meant I didn't get home until almost 1am.

Not that it really messed up this morning, although I did have one of those "hey, where's that thing?" moments where I had to try and find a thing, knowing it had been in a particular place at one point, but not having any clue where it was now. I love those moments. Especially when there aren't really that many places things could logically be. I found it, although not anywhere I expected it.

Given that this week is back to cooler weather, I'm making stew. Stew is always good. Very much making it up as I go though.

Otherwise the supermarket was as expected... I was a little annoyed though that the check out girl put the meat we bought in in a way that meant that blood leaked out into the bottom of one of Ma's shopping bags, all over the shopping in the bottom of that bag. So yeah, that took a while to get put right.

We headed into the city again because... m'eh, what else are we gunna do. But our visit just so happened to coincide with the last of the rain for the day. And guess what I discovered... you'll never guess. I discovered that my shoes had basically fallen apart... but in a way that wasn't evident until my right shoe started taking on water like the Titanic. Less fun really.

And the ones that look like those shoes in Target are now either just made narrower... or else I needed an 11 and they only had 10s and 12s. I did find some cool looking grey shoes... they could be faux suede, they could be basically rubber... but I like them. They do have laces... and since I've been the king of slip on shoes for entirely too long now, that's going to take five minutes of adjustment.

We also found Ma a cheap ass fascinator for her work Nationwide Horse Racing Bullshit thing next week... maybe next week, I honestly don't know... I haven't cared about that in several years now, so I couldn't tell you when it's on with any degree of certainty.

And that was it really. So very exciting.

More photos from last week's excursion.

This week, however, has been a whotsaname... holding pattern.

Or it kinda feels like that anyway.

But, back to the beginning...

I've made tuna mornay a number of times. You could even say "a lot". I think this week's batch is the first time that I've actually properly made a proper mornay sauce. With all the cheese and everything. And of course a healthy dose of spices, but that's just usual for me.

But yeah, I took my time with the sauce this time, and it turned out pretty damn well.

This week was also the start of Daylight Savings... which meant that my body clock was all out of whack for the first half of the week. Weirdly more so on the evening end of things to be honest.

I also got sort of... let's not call it obsessed... but, you know, obsessed, with taking the Hero Forge versions of my DnD characters, throwing them into Photoshop and applying colour. Basically, as I realised towards the end of the week, my version of an adult colouring book. When I've finished all of them, I might post my favourite ones here... we'll see.

Speaking of DnD, there was only one game this week, the Wednesday day game. And, honestly, it was a red hot disaster. A bunch of regular folk weren't there, and neither of the DMs were on my first choice list. And the adventure we ended up playing was something of a mess (or became so because DM).

Next week I'm starting a campaign with new people, but only every other week. Which should be good. Not sure exactly what we're playing yet, but we'll work all that out on Friday.

Otherwise the week was a bit... blah.

Today, likewise, blah.

We did the supermarket thing. Because the weather has gone back to being Spring adjacent rather than Summer orientated, I'm going back to soup for now... chicken soup more specifically.

And then we came back here.

And we did a whole lot of nothing.

Originally we were going to go out and do... something. But there really isn't a something we needed to do. Or wanted to do for that matter.

So there was a period of time where we stood around trying to work out what to do if we went out... before giving up and not bothering. In the end we went over to Burnside Village to look at the pop-up Christmas store that was around last year (same shop, different location), before grabbing some lunch.

And that was that really.
