photo friday: wattle

Originally I was going to use one of the shots from yesterday's trip to Port Adelaide for my Photo Friday post (and actually did for a while if you were paying attention)... but then I discovered that today is actually Wattle Day...

And since I knew that I had a shot of wattle sitting around from my trip to Linear Park a few weeks ago, it seemed like it was meant to be...

But really, who knew today was Wattle Day... I didn't even know there WAS a Wattle Day... let alone when it was...

So... Happy Wattle Day...
